Red Balloon Worthing is proud to be part of the Red Balloon Educational Trust, a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting young people who are unable to attend mainstream education due to anxiety, bullying, trauma, or other complex reasons.
The Trust oversees a network of Red Balloon Learner Centres and Red Balloon of the Air (our online provision) across the UK, working together to provide nurturing, therapeutic, and academic environments for learners aged 11–18.
Our Shared Vision 🌟
The Red Balloon Educational Trust was founded with a simple but powerful mission:
To help young people recover, re-engage with education, and thrive.
Each Centre shares this vision, creating a space where learners feel safe, respected, and able to rebuild confidence and trust — both in themselves and in the world around them
What the Trust Provides
The Trust offers vital support and guidance to each Red Balloon Centre, including:
- Safeguarding leadership and governance
- Educational strategy and curriculum frameworks
- Staff training and professional development
- Policies, procedures, and compliance
- Advocacy and fundraising on a national level
- Collaboration across Centres to share best practice
A National Network with a Personal Touch
Although every Red Balloon Centre is unique and rooted in its local community, being part of the Trust means we benefit from shared values, high standards, and collective strength.
